Sweater Dog

On my way home from work this evening, I saw the funniest thing. There was a really small compact pickup in front of me. In the back of the pickup was a really HUGE dog wearing a sweater. The dog was so big that he was able to lean against the back glass and rest his head on the hood of the cab to look around. And when the dog moved from side to side in the pickup bed, it made the bed tilt. I laughed out loud!! And I thought to myself, “Dude, you either need a bigger truck or a smaller dog!” The sweater, however, was a nice touch!!
How often in our lives are we overwhelmed and trying, like the little truck, to carry a load that is way too big for us to handle??
Psalms 61:2 KJV- From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
