A new year always brings resolutions from people to make life changes. Some pledge to lose weight. Others plan to pay off debt. Some are determined to exercise more. Other people make promises to go to Church every Sunday. And well…you get the picture.

While going down the road the other day, I read a sign that said the New Year was 365 chances to get things right. I thought to myself that all you need is one chance to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Then, you can use the other 364 to give God the glory and praise for all the blessings in your life!

Matthew 6:31-33 (KJV) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
