The Puzzle

My son says that life is like a jigsaw puzzle. He says that even if we have all of the pieces, it takes some time to arrange and rearrange them to get a total and clear picture.

I thought this was a very interesting analogy. I enjoy putting together puzzles. And often times just one little piece can hold important details.

This brought to mind how Christ is the corner stone. And how that stone was rejected by the builders. But, then without Him there is no foundation and without that piece there is no clear picture.

Psalms 118:22 (KJV) The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

Matthew 21:42(KJV) Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Acts 4:10-12 (KJV) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
