Wake Up!

BUZZZZZZZZ! A very loud alarm was going off! I was sleeping really hard. I thought it was my husband’s alarm. And I was getting really annoyed because he wouldn’t get up and turn it off!
Then, in what turned out to be a dream, his alarm clock looked like a mini replica of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! (This is pretty funny if you know my husband and how he feels about the commercial side of Christmas!) So in this dream, I was angrily twisting Rudolph’s head and punching its flashing red nose to try and get that buzzing to stop! And my husband was getting very upset because he thought I was going to break his deer. I woke up and realized it was actually MY alarm clock that was buzzing and that it was time for me to wake up.
I think we all have times when we don’t really want to wake up and face the day. But when it comes to the direction we are going in our country, we can no longer cover our heads and pretend like things are going to get better without the Lord. We’ve all got to pray that God will forgive us for the offenses that are being committed here, like the shedding of innocent blood thru abortions. It’s time for us to wake up and get back on track!
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Proverbs 6:16-19 (KJV) These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
