Have you ever noticed that God has a sense of humor? We raised some of our own chickens to eat. We processed them and put them in the freezer. Then, we gave a couple bags of the “healthy chicken” to our son. Thinking, of course, that we had given him whole chickens.

Our son worked the night shift for his job one night. And when he got home, he laid out a bag of the “healthy chicken” to thaw for dinner. They called him from work to tell him that things weren’t going well at all during the following day shift. Machines had broken down and on and on...one problem after another.

When he hung up from talking to them, he opened his bag of “healthy chicken” and discovered that it was a whole bag of just chicken wings!! Now we’re always saying, “It ain’t no thing but a chicken wing!” when we have problems. So, I guess the Lord was letting him know that his problems at work were really just “no thing” at all!!!
