You always wonder just what kind of day you are going to have when you get to work and discover that your shirt is on backwards!!

This happened to me not long ago. And it reminded me of an older gentleman that I worked with for several years. This man came to work wearing two different shoes one day. He had on one dress shoe and one casual shoe. He said his shoes were all under his bed and he just grabbed two. And he didn’t notice that they were not a matching pair until he got to work. Now, he only lived about a five to ten minute drive away from the office. So, it wouldn’t have taken him very long to go home and change. But, he didn’t. I guess he decided to just roll with it that day. And besides, it was a definite conversation starter!!

When you think about it, as long as we are decently dressed, is it really that important what we are physically wearing? But it is important for us to have on our spiritual armor. And we should never go out and face the world without the armor of the Lord.

Ephesians 6:11-17(KJV) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
