The Right Lane

Our wiener dog, Molly has a length perception problem. She doesn’t realize how long her caboose is! When we let her out to go pee, she puts her front feet in the grass and pees on the sidewalk! Oh well, at least it isn’t in the house, right?!
I find that people have that same length perception problem. For instance, someone driving that wants to turn but doesn’t get their whole vehicle into the turn lane. They will be half in the turn lane and their rear end will be sticking out in the traffic. Then, you have to either move over to go around them or completely stop until they can make their turn.
Another one that is along the same line is someone pulling a trailer, boat, camper or something of that nature. How often do you have to completely stop when they pull out in front of you? They don’t realize that with the load they are pulling it takes longer and more room for them to make their turn.
This made me think about what’s following all of us. What from your past makes it more difficult for you to maneuver? What do you need to unload, shorten up or unhook from to make your turns in life easier and to help you to stay in the right lane?
Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV) “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Proverbs 16:25 (KJV) There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
