A friend made some very poor decisions that put him in a bad situation and in a really dark place. But the Lord showed him favor and gave him another chance. It isn’t going to be an easy path. My friend will need to work hard, be diligent and most of all learn to accept and to walk with the Lord. He needs to learn to seek the Lord in all of his decisions and to lean on the Lord when he’s not strong. My friend said, “People say I’m lucky that things are working out good. But, I am blessed.” I asked him if he knew why the Lord is blessing him. He looked a little confused when he answered, “No”. I said, “Because you are worth it!” Now these few words for this man were from the Lord, I was only the messenger. God knows exactly what we need to hear and when we need to hear it. And I have never been more certain that a heart was touched than with those four little words, “You are worth it.”

God sent us His only begotten Son. His Son, Jesus Christ, the perfect man for whom the whole world was made. God’s Son, a man without a spot or a blemish was sent to die for us. He was sent to make atonement for us and to be the last sin offering made to the living God for us. And Jesus Christ did this for each and every one of us because brothers and sisters, we are worth it!
