Let God Lead

The answers to our prayers are often not what we expect. But if we let God lead and ask Him for help with all the things that are pressing on our hearts, then the most amazing things can happen.
We have a blind sheep dog. He’s only three years old and if ever there was an accident prone dog, Clyde is one. When he hurt one of his eyes, it was very sad. But he still had one good eye. He could see and seemed to be content. Then, somehow he managed to badly injure his good eye. We were heartbroken and so was he. The poor dog seemed sad and discouraged.
So, we prayed for Clyde. As a child of God, you can take whatever you need help with to the Lord. And a few days later, we looked out the window and saw Clyde playing with his brother in the field just like a puppy. His tail was just a wagging! God healed his spirit. This blind dog still goes out with the sheep in the mornings. I doubt that he could chase a predator. But, I guess he could talk big! He is able to go back and forth between the barn and the house. He makes his way thru the fences with no trouble at all. Unless you look closely, you might not think that he is blind. But, I assure you he is.
Clyde loves people and is one of the sweetest dogs ever. I feel very strongly that he may have a calling to be a therapy dog. But that’s still in the future and for future stories!
God answers prayers. And when you let God lead, you will get some awesome answers that you never even imagined!
Philippians 4:6 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Matthew 6:9-10 (KJV) After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Psalms 143:10 (KJV) Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
