Where is the Love?

I know it is spring when the barn swallows return to build a nest on my front porch lights. This year, the birds have gotten even more aggressive. Before their nest was even built, they were trying to dive bomb me while I was standing on the porch. They really aren’t very smart! I’m the one who protects them and won’t let anyone tear their nest down after they have laid their eggs. I’m the one who lets them do their thing and cleans up after them. And they are flying at my head!! Where is their thankfulness? Where is their love? And where is their gratitude?

Kind of reminds you of our ungrateful attitude toward God, doesn’t it? He provides for us, cares for us and protects us. And what do we do??

Psalms 100:4 (KJV) Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Revelation 7:12 (KJV) Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
