A Life of Choices

My friend, Carla and I were talking about being an example for others. Carla said that everyone is a good example for others to follow. We are either a good example of what to do or we are a good example of what not to do. This is so true!
Whether we like it or not other people are always watching the things we do and the choices we make. Just think how many people – family, friends, co-workers and even strangers that you encounter each day and how many that would add up to in a year. In the lifetime of just one person, you have the opportunity to glorify the Lord by being an example for Him in each and every one of those encounters. And you will have an especially big impact on those that love and admire you.
I’ve heard people say that they aren’t hurting anyone but themselves with the choices that they make. But, that is totally not true. Like Carla said, we are all examples. We have one life to live and we are making choices and being examples until we draw our last breath. Are you going to choose to be a good example or a bad one? That choice is up to you.
John 13:15-17 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
