I think the problems I was having with my thumb may have been diabetes related. But the skin on my thumb started cracking open along the bend lines and it would not heal. This went on for months. It would heal a little bit then crack open and bleed again. It really hurt and was painful when I tried to bend it. My son was telling me about anointing a friend with oil and praying for them. And I knew in my heart that if he would do that for my thumb, that the Lord would heal it. So, I asked my son to anoint my thumb with the oil and to pray for its healing. He did and the Lord healed my thumb! I kid you not! The skin healed and has not cracked open since that prayer. Praise God!!! And thank you Lord so much for your mercy and healing! Please Lord keep me forever mindful of all the good things you have done for me.
Psalms 66:19-20 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Psalms 118:28-29 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalms 100:4-5 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Psalms 103:1-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies
Pslams 105:3-5 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore. Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
