Just peachy

We have some peach trees on our farm. We like peaches. But it seems like something happens to them every year and we don’t get any. A bad freeze, a hard wind, as well as peach loving deer, squirrels and birds are just a few of the reasons our peach crop fails.
This year I looked out the window and the peaches were just beautiful. The tree was loaded with rosy peaches and I couldn’t wait. I went out and picked one of the prettiest ones and brought it inside with a great deal of anticipation. I could almost taste that juicy fresh peach! But when I cut that gorgeous peach open, it was full of rot and worms! It was disgusting and gross!
So remember just because something is pretty to look at and takes a good picture doesn’t mean that it is good, solid and worthy. Do not be fooled by the outward beauty in this world. What matters most is what is on the inside!!
John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
Luke 11:39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
