The Gate

In Genesis, the Bible tells us that dominion over the earth was given to man. Genesis 1:28 says “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Jesus Christ came to earth, lived as a man and in doing so He too has dominion over the earth. He also died the death of a man and has the keys to death and hell.

Jesus Christ is and always has been the Son of the living God. He is not dead. And like it says in Romans 8:34 “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

In John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” When the Bible talks about entering in at the strait gate, that gate is Jesus Christ. He is the only way for man to be reunited with God. You must go thru Him to reach God and to get to heaven. Jesus Christ is the gate between life and death. He is the gate between earth and heaven. And He is the gate between man and God.

So if you are seeking the way to eternal life, start by looking to the cross and finding the Gate.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
