In church, we sing an old hymn called “He Bore it All” that really speaks to my heart. The words go “I stood condemned to die but Jesus took my place.”

The Son of the living God, Jesus Christ came to rescue all of us from sure death. We had absolutely no hope of being reconciled to God, our Father. But the Lord came down from heaven. He lived as a man and lived that perfect life as only He could do. An innocent man, Jesus Christ was sentenced to death. And He died that death on the cross for all of us. Each person can say He did it for me. He died for my sins so I don’t have to and paid the price for my sins that I could never have paid. The nails were driven in His hands, when it should have been my hands. The arrow pierced His side, when it should have been my side. His blood was spilled that day, when it should have been my blood. Jesus Christ suffered and died that day, when it should have been me. He did it for me. He did it for all of us. And because He was an innocent man, Christ’s death made a difference. It gives us a chance to live with God, a chance we could not have without Him. And like the song says, “He bore it all that I might in His presence live.”

This is the greatest gift that you will ever receive. You have hope and promise thru our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is waiting for you and like the Bible says “with his stripes we are healed”. Will you accept Him and let Him bear it all for you??

2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
